About Marjorie

I am a US-2 Young Adult Missionary with the General Board of Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church going to be a Social Justice Advocate at Crossroads Urban Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. I am from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and attended the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg.

On the fun side: I am a lifelong fan of the LSU Tigers (Geaux Tigers!), I am a fan of the USM Golden Eagles. I like to read, especially fantasy like Harry Potter, Narnia, the Hunger Games, etc. Grown-up books-wise, I like Pat Conroy, Terry Pratchett, Shane Claiborne, The Bible, To Kill a Mockingbird, Victor Hugo, Jane Austen etc. etc. etc. Movies are fun, too, and really, so long as they are not Westerns or truly awful (even then, they are fun to laugh at sometimes!) I will enjoy them with some popcorn or soda! I love to play foosball but am always on the lookout for a worthy opponent. I like trivia games. I will give almost anything a shot!
